How to Create a PPC Campaign for your Kindle eBook or Paperback- es255Hello welcome to Retail Outsource. That’s for Kindle so it can be a paper version or an eBook version. So, in this case I’m goon an create a campaign for. Both the Kindle version, eBook version, and the paperback. So, once you have logged into your bookshelf on your account, that’s kip.

Amazon.com and you can see if you click on bookshelf whatever book, you have published it will be shown over here.

And what you have to do here, you can see there are three dots, just hover it over there and there’s an option to promote and advertise click on Promote and Advertise From here. You can see, there’s a box for run a campaign. So, if it’s, the first time it will ask you for the charge method. That means you have to add a card and you know add the rest of the details and it will charge around one dollar, so one pound or one euros and just to check if the card is valid or not so once it’s all set up, there Will be no issues on this account, it’s already been set up.

The card Is been linked for charging and the first thing you have to do as it is a book it’s been published on 15 different markets, so I’m just Giannascoli down and select UK for the example.

And create a campaign? Okay, what will happen is that if you already have a Seller Central account? All this will be linked together so for example if I put over here and if I draw from the drop from the drop-down menu, you can see All the different countries. This is for Seller, Central and, if you scroll down, I can see this is for KDP And it’s United Kingdom.

So, the more countries you add it. Everything will be shown over here. So there. We are starting with just UK for the moment, and we are going to create a sponsored product at the moment. The brand is not linked, so that option has been grayed outate the moment, so I’m goon and click on continue and from here. The first thing is to name the group, The ASINs from here which all products that you want to and if you want to remove it, just click over here to remove the products so, I’m just going to add both the products.

And the next thing is targeting so There are two options: automatic. That means Amazon system will take care of it and then the second option is manual. That means, if you know the keywords and everything what all keywords that you want to use and if you have the full details, then you can go with it.

But as it’s the first time, I will go with automatic. The reason behind is that, after running it for at least four weeks we’ll able to download the reports and gather the information in which keyboard is performing, and all those reports go through the reports and sort. The keywords and everything and then create manual targeting so that will be more optimized campaign.

But as is the first time we are going to go with the automatic targeting So, I’m just going to select that and the automatic targeting the bid type I’m going to put it as 40, but we’ll be closely monitoring the campaign. If you want to you can put specific bits on you know, Close match, Loose, match Substitutes or Complements. So, I’m just go on and leave it as a set bid fixed and then. You don’t have to put any negative keywords or negative products at this stage, because wearer just gathering information, we are on kind of level one at the moment.

How to Create a PPC Campaign for your Kindle eBook or Paperback- es255We are gathering information, but we have to closely monitor this campaign, because Amazon have full control of this campaign, and they will make the changes. They will automatically add products or keywords, so you have to ideally monitor on a daily basis, and if there is any keyword or product which are not relevant to the to this book or to this topic, then you have to copy that if it’s a keyword, you have to add It under this keyword and if it’s a product, then you have to addict under this product it will be an ASIN so because it’s a starting we’re just going to leave it as it is, And from here you can see this campaign bidding strategy, so there are three options From here bid down only because the bids for a specific keyword will fluctuate all the time on an hourly basis.

So, ideally, if you put down only off bid time, the automatically the bids will go down and this campaign will keep a track of it and it will bring down the bids as well, and the second option is dynamic.

That means to fluctuate up and down. It will just keep up the market price of that keyword and it will bid accordingly and as its tests run information.

I’M goon and leave it for dynamic bids, and if you select this one fix bit whatever bits you output, that will be the bid. It’s not going to change and if you scroll down again, you can put a campaign name, I’m just goon an leave it as it is and the start date. It will be 14th Jan and I’m just going to leave it the end date as it is, and the last boxes the budget. So, I’m just go on an put five for the moment, but I’m goon and you know I will check it tomorrow and see in some cases you have to increase it or decrease it, but we are putting a low budget to start with at the moment.

So, once you’re happy with everything that you have entered you can click on launch campaign. So that’s it, you can see it. Will it’s underspending approval and we will they will. Let us know if it’s approved or not so you can checkback later on and it will be under the campaigns. So, if you go on campaigns, it will be shown under here over here. I hope this video was helpful.
